Mammary glands in mammals generate milk, a clear liquid meal. Before they are able to digest solid food, it is the main source of sustenance for young mammals (including breastfed human newborns). Milk immunity is a result of immune-related and immune-modulating elements. Colostrum, or early lactation milk, contains antibodies that boost the immune system and lower the risk of several diseases. Several nutrients, including lactose and protein, are found in milk.

Dairy milk is a crop that is harvested from farm animals. Around 260 million dairy cows in dairy farms produced 730 million tonnes (800 million short tons) of milk in 2011.[4] Although it exports few other milk products, India is the world’s largest producer of milk and the top exporter of skimmed milk powder. India may someday turn into a net importer of dairy goods due to the country’s rising demand for them. The three countries that export the most milk-related goods are New Zealand, Germany, and the Netherlands. A daily intake of two servings of dairy milk products is advised for children over the age of 12 months, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
